Two Second!

Nika has been saying the cutest thing lately. When she doesn't want to do something we ask, she will hold up her little finger and say, "Two Second!" We have no idea where she got it from.

Other cute things she says, "Eddison" - Medicine, "She," "Baby," "Kissin"- These all mean Christian, "Kylay"- any girl friend, and "Papa" - any old man. Posted by Picasa

Nika has been Sick

Nika was running a fever for around 5 days. Really scared us. We finally took her to the doctors on Sunday. By the time we arrived the fever had disappered and she has been her perky self eversince. We are so happy to have her back.

Christian had the same cold too. He came out of it much faster (Mama milk). But we are so happy to have our happy kids back and our bed. For around four nights we had Nika, Christian, Matt and I all in our Queen bed. You can image that Matt and I didn't get much sleep. Posted by Picasa

crawling fool

He is all over the place now. Posted by Picasa

Merry Christmas

Why can't I smile decent. I got us these cute sweaters at Children's Place. I love them. Matt hates them (ichy). Posted by Picasa

Two thirds Snowman

Kenny managed to find a use for the snow. He made two huge snowballs in hopes we would have enough for the third part of the snowman. No such luck the snow didn't last long and no more came. Posted by Picasa

Snow Day

About two weeks ago it snowed in Salem! Wow. Kenny (my nephew) got out of school and we had fun. Here you see Christian in Nika's old snowsuit. He enjoyed the snow much more than Nika did at this age. Posted by Picasa

Christian Meets Father Christmas

Last week Christian met Fatjer Christmas. Nika was supposed to be in the picture, but she got a little freaked out by an old man wanting her to sit on his lap. That was fine. The Guy was so cool. It was pricey, but a must for Baby's First Christmas. Posted by Picasa

Over the mountians . . .

And through the woods to grandmother's house we go. Week before Thanksgiving we went to my mom's house in sisters on the bus. It was way cool the only way to ride. I could tend to the kids and let someone else worry about the snow and ice. Posted by Picasa

Father Son

Here you see Matt enjoying his son. Christian is the king of Neck bridges. You should see him. He just might rival his grandpa, great uncle, and dad at wrestling.

Christian has been such a joy to our lives. Posted by Picasa

An older man

This is Tommy. He is the neighbor boy and the love of Nika's life. She yells for him. My nephew Kenny is good friends with Tommy and the other day he came over for dinner. Nika insisted on hold his hand during dinner and even slipped him a kiss. He is a little old for her Eight Years Old. Don't worry, Matt his rifle polished. Posted by Picasa

6 months Now !

Christian is now a professional crawler. Check out my myspace page to see video of him crawling. Today he went and got his big boy pictures. I can't wait to show you all.

No new teeth yet. But I expect to see some soon. My normally wonderful man has been a little glum. I think it is because of his teeth. Posted by Picasa

Yummy Mommy

Nika helped herself to Rasin Bran the other day. Matt caught her in the act. So instead of clean it up he told me to get the camara and I cleaned it up. She had spilled the ceral out and was just eatting the rasins. Posted by Picasa

Christian + Green Crayon = Green Mustache

Nika was feeding Christian crayons the other day. I thought it looked funny. Not many young men can say they already have facial hair at nearly 6 months. Posted by Picasa

Hair Cut

With much fanfare Nika got a hair cut and now is the proud owner of bangs. Yeah. All those morning of mess hair are gone.

Fish on the Dam

Matt spent about an hour and a half on the Detriot Dam fishing this last friday. You know what? He even caught a fish. We had it as a snack before dinner that night. Nika and I were all excited Posted by Picasa

Big Boy Food

Christian had his first rice ceral the other day. He wasn't sure about the texture, but I promised to work on it. Last night he had sweet potatos for the first time and on Wednesday he tried cherrios and another little dissolve in your mouth treat. Posted by Picasa

Over the Mountians

Last weekend we visit my parents in Sisters. I thought this picture (found in bend) was a good illustration of the trip. Posted by Picasa

First two Teeth

I assume you can see Christian's two bottom teeth better. Those teeth are sharp, just ask my nose. My nose still has bite marks. Posted by Picasa

Christian Matthew West Five Months Old

Christian is doing so many cool things. He is inch worming all around. Rolls, is wanting to eat, etc. I think we might soon give him rice ceral, but he hasn't eaten anything except for what he has snuck when we aren't watching. Posted by Picasa

First Two Teeth

Don't tell me you can't see them. Well I don't blame you. I can barely see them too. They are just above the shiny spots. Two live actual teeth. So exciting. Before I know it he will be eating steak, beef jerky, and getting cavities (not my perfect child). Posted by Picasa

Handsome Husband

Matt worked from home today. It was nice to have him home since we haven't seen much of each other. Monday through today we have been all sick with a cold. Matt and I have been going to bed a different times, he went Salmon fishing one night, or caring for sick kids. Yes he does look dazed, you would too if you took to much cold medication and have computer brain drain too. But he still finds time to be there for everyone in the house. By the way he didn't catch any Salmon. Maybe next time. Posted by Picasa

A family dinner

Tonight we made enchiladas. Everyone did their share of the work. Nika spread the cheese and olives. Kenny put shredded the cheese. I put the meat and beans in the enchiladas. As you can see we are chefs - the kitchen was a disaster. But dinner was good. Posted by Picasa

Kenny "Blue Eyes" Hunt

Our nephew "blue eyes" has been living with us the last couple of weeks. Unsure how long he will be with us, but those eyes are enough reward. He is so funny, a women will come up to him and tell him how wonderful his eyes are and he will say something like, "that is what all the women say!" No he doesn't have a big head. He is just blunt. Hair Brush

The other day I caught Nika brushing her hair with the toliet brush (My other website has a video). The following day she washed her hair in our other toliet with baby shampoo and everything. These toddler years are terrific. I laughed so hard I nearly wet my pants. Posted by Picasa
