Update on My Mom
For those who have been asking my mom is improving. It is a slow battle which on some day she is able to fight harder than others. The toughest part I think right now if for her to be so isolated. A long drive, lets say to see grandkids, is to uncomfortable to deal with. She is still suffering with a post nasal drip cough that really wares on healing lungs. Thanks for all the encouragement you all have given me.

Family Weekend
Our niece Victoria was allowed a visit this week with us. She is about to change home for the third time since the State of Oregon removed custody from her mom in late June. We tried to make the weekend special. Grandpa and Grandma West came down along with the girls brother Kenny (who lived with us for nearly 6 months).
We took everyone to this great park near Pringle Elementary School. They have a awesome Sprinkler system along with two sets of play equipment (one for the young kids and one for the older kids).
Kiley was super excited to see her PaPa.

Camping
We went camping the weekend of July 26-29th with some of our close friends. The ratio Adults to Kids was crazy 8:8. Next year I think it will be even crazier, because three of those were under 5 months. Next year all eight will be on foot.
We all took our bikes and bike trailers. Since we had three (Kiley, Nika, and Christian) we bought another trailer. It is way cool, a chariot.
All the kids had fun rolling around in the dirt, throwing rocks, going on rides, swimming (in dirty lake dorina), and eating junk food.
I really enjoyed camping with these guys. Everyone feels comfortable enough to kind of keep an eye on each others kids, giving us a lighter load.
