Both of our kids wake up a bit on the grumpy side, not Kyle. He is always super happy to see us in the morning. I suppose with all the sleep he gets he would be the happiest. Sometimes he sleeps 12 hours straight. Two nights ago, was the first time he woke in the middle of the night in around five months. Our kids wake up more often.

About the name sitch: With our youngest, I had a few folks wondering why we would change a decent name (he came to us with Joshua) that already matched our others, to such an odd name.
For us, it's claiming OUR child. We're raising him, waking up in the night with him, educating him, loving him, providing for him, etc.
Why shouldn't I get to name my baby?
As for #3, he came to us with NaTrael.
Re-naming him was necessary both because we hated his birth name and because we have mediated contact with some birth family who needs to understand in no uncertain terms that he is now OUR son and they need to respect that.
As for your little one, if you and your husband end up adopting him, the choice needs to be yours and yours alone.
Call your son what you want! Don't pay any mind to folks who don't understand the complications/implications of adopting and should be minding their own business anyhow!
